IIT- ian's PACE was established in the year 1999. When IIT aspirants from Mumbai were in search of an institution dedicated to their cause. The meticulously maintained coaching quality, healthy competitive environment and whole hearted student support system made IIT-ian's PACE the unanimous choice.
IIT-ian's PACE began its success story on a very positive note with Niranjan Desai (All India Rank 1732) our very first student getting selected in IIT. The first two year batch which appeared for IIT-JEE 2001, proved the supremacy of IIT-ian's PACE by achieveing 31 selections out of 55 students. In addition 3 of our students that year, also secured ranks among the top 100 - Mihir Chaudhary (A.I.R. 67), Vibhor Rastogi (A.I.R. 69), Parag Aggarwal (A.I.R. 76). Parag also won a gold medal for India at the International Physics Olympiad held In Turkey.
In 2003, our two year course student, Yashodhan Kanoria, secured A.I.R 1 in the IIT-JEE screening test and A.I.R 2 in the mains He also secured A.I.R 1 in AIEEE and won gold medals at the International Physics and Chemistry Olympiads. Shaleen Harlalka, who came to Tyagi Sir for special guidance for the International Physics Olympiad also won a gold medal. Overall in 2003, IIT-ian's PACE captured 5 ranks in the top 50 All India Ranks in IIT - JEE.
In 2005, our two year course student, Ruchi Agarwal (A.I.R.24), achieved the highest rank In IIT-JEE amongst girls and our total selections in IIT-JEE went up to 37 out of 86 students.
In 2006, IIT-ian's PACE produced 7 ranks in the top 100 In IIT - JEE with total of 62 selections. Mehul Tikekar, who came to Tyagi Sir specially for the International Physics Olympiad preparation won a Gold Medal for India. In the same year, Neha Rambia, our two year course student, became the first girl ever to represent India in the International Physics Olympiad and also win a Bronze Medal.
In 2007, our two year course student Harsh Pareek (A.I.R 8), achieved the highest rank from Maharashtra in the IIT-JEE and also won a Silver Medal in the International Physics Olympiad.Pranay Bhatia, another two year course student, secured A.I.R.26 in the IIT-JEE while IIT-ian's PACE achieved a whooping 93 selections in the IIT-JEE from a total of 210students.
In 2008, 4 students secured ranks among the top 100 All India Ranks and IIT-ian's PACE scored a century by achieving 117 selections in the IIT-JEE out of 310 students. Kunal Shah our two year course student, bagged A.I.R. 23 In IIT-JEE and also won a Gold Medal for India in the International Physics Olympiad. That year, another student, M Srujan secured rank A.I.R. 36 in the IIT-JEE.
In 2009, 13 students secured ranks among the top 100,with a total of 184 students selected in the IIT-JEE out of 600 students. Pararth Shah,our two year course student achieved A.I.R.4 (Maharashtra Rank 1) while Priyank Parikh achieved A.I.R 6 (Maharashtra Rank 2) and won a Gold Medal at the International Physics Olympiad. Abhishek Padmanabhan secured A.I.R.14 (Maharashtra Rank 3) and bagged a Silver Medal in International Chemistry olympiad while Rahul Makhijani secured A.I.R.49 in IIT-JEE.
In 2010, 205 students from IIT-ian's PACE got selected in IIT-JEE out of 650 students.our students also secured top ranks in India amongst girls (Aakanksha Sarda – A.I.R. 18) and the top rank in Mumbai amongst boys (Nikunj Saunshi – A.I.R. 12). We also achieved A.I.R. 32, 34, 57, 89, 101… in the IIT- JEE. IIT-ian's PACE also continued its dominance in Mumbai with our students achieving all the top ranks from Mumbai in IIT JEE'10 (Mumbai Ranks 1,2,3,4,5,6,7…).
Our students have also continued to perform their best in the International arena with Aakanksha Sarda (A.I.R. 18) being the first girl from India and the only gold medalist in International Physics Olympiad’10 & Nikunj Saunshi (A.I.R. 12) winning the Silver Medal in International Chemistry Olympiad’10.
In 2011 yet again proved IIT-ian's PACE to be the best coaching institute for the IIT-JEE, AIEEE and International Olympiads. A total of 206 out of 685 students got selected in IIT-JEE. We have been consistently producing Maharashtra Rank 1 since the last four years. Last year, we have had 8 selections in Top 50 All India Ranks in IIT-JEE and 12 selections in Top 100 All India Ranks in IIT-JEE (A.I.R. 13, 32, 36, 36*, 37, 39, 46*, 50, 82, 87, 87*, 91*,…). Our students also continued their stellar performance in the International arena with Smarak Maity (AIR 50) in IIT JEE'11 as the only Bronze Medalist from India in Asian Physics Olympiad and has also won Silver Medal in International Chemistry Olympiad.

Year on year, we have recognized new records and reached new heights, which in turn has set a new target for us. Although we started out with humble beginnings, we have now emerged as the most dependable and result- oriented institute for JEE / AIIMS / Medical / SAT /HSC and International Science Olympiad. Due to our performance and best results, PACE has become the most preferred institute for Mumbai toppers (from ICSE,CBSE and SSC boards) every year.
Even siblings of previous years' toppers from other coaching classes of Mumbai prefer PACE We are proud of the fact that IIT faculty, Deans and Directors of IIT Mumbai entrusted us with the responsibility of training their children for JEE preparation.
Since 2009, PACE has been running 2 PACE Junior Science Colleges in collaboration with MCGM. In 2010,PACE was granted permissions to start 6 PACE Junior Science Colleges across Mumbai.
As of 2012, PACE now runs 8 such colleges in Mumbai affiliated to the HSC Board offering the revolutionary Hybrid Education Program to students. Under this program, preparation for competitive examinations & Boards is completely synchronized under one roof to save time and effort of students.
Since the year 2010, PACE has been grooming its many aspirants to seek education abroad. In fact, 39 international universities have issued offer letters to some of the PACE students accrediting the efforts of Tyagi Sir by way of special appreciation letters.
In 2012, PACE started training Medical aspirants adopting the PACE method of synchronized learning (JEE/AIIMS + Board Preparation + SAT) wherein 12 of 17 PACE students were selected to the most reputed Medical schools across India achieving the best of results within 3 months of inception.
Keeping in mind the IVY League’s performance criteria, PACE has set a stepping stone for nurturing young minds in India grooming the child to face challenging examinations right from the very start which inevitably come along their educational journey. This founding philosophy has motivated students to give their best at the most challenging national/international examinations such as the International Olympiad, NTSE, etc. which is evident from our students achievements.
